The last several days have been indescribable. There are truly no words for how God showed out at this retreat. It will be an experience I will never forget & will forever carry in my heart.

My prayer was for me to arrive with an open heart & mind in order to receive all that God had for me & He answered my prayer. In fact, He did more than that. He gave me a word.

On a day like today was when I made the decision to have an abortion in 2012.

It took me some time to finally forgive myself & accept God’s forgiveness but then shortly after I began to carry the guilt & shame of not feeling guilty or shameful for the decision I made.

Tonight, He delivered me from it. He told me, “Look to ME. Though I allowed you to abort that baby, I did not & will not allow you to abort the purpose I have placed in the inside of you. I allowed you to abort on that day because I knew that 6 years later (TODAY) you would be here to receive all that I have been preparing you for. I allowed you to go to that clinic on that day & witness the different women who were there by choice & others by force so that you would be able to understand & relate to the women I will appoint to you that have yet to let release the guilt & shame of the decisions that have separated them from Me.”

The Word of God says, “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts, says the Lord. And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. (Isaiah 55:8).

God knew that I would make a decision I never thought I’d make on this day in 2012 & He also knew that this decision would lead me to Him with a repentant heart & a willing spirit.

He knew that I would sin in such a way I never thought I would have been capable of but “God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

For it is by GRACE we have been saved, through faith & this is not from ourselves, it is the gift of God. A gift that is offered to all of us. All we have to do is RECEIVE it!

It doesn’t matter if you sinned yesterday, a month ago or even 5 mins ago – All God is asking for is a repentant heart & a willing spirit so that YOU can walk in freedom & in YOUR purpose!

We all have a past & we all have a story but God is GREATER than any sin, guilt, shame, worry, fear, or doubt.

God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

We all have been made with a purpose.

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us a anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago (Ephesians 2:10).
