🤣 #ImAHotMess But in all seriousness, don’t hold back from being who YOU are. Let me just be clear on something. If you’re rude, disrespectful & your intentions are just malicious then you truly need to look within & ask yourself why that is. That’s not what I’m referring to. What I mean is don’t hold back from being the person you fought so hard to become. Sometimes we feel the need to wear these different masks to satisfy others. Why?!? 🤔

For a very long time, I used to care about what others thought of me. I couldn’t be my true self because I feared other people’s perception of me. I’ve been through so much in the last several years & have grown so much. I OWE it to myself to be ME! And you do too. Not everyone will like you & that’s OK! It truly is. Honestly, I don’t like many people myself. 🤤 Yea, I said it. 😤 j/k lol

You know what I’ve noticed on this spiritual journey?! In the minds of others I am not allowed to stand up for me because if so then that means I’m ungodly. If I choose to distant myself from things or people that no longer serve me then I’m being unloving. That’s not true. Sometimes you have to be brave enough to be YOU & not apologize for it. You have to be brave enough to walk away from certain people who are toxic & love them from a distance. The people who truly love you & cherish you as a person will appreciate that. I’m grateful to have people in my life that accept me for who I am (vice versa) & for those that don’t that’s ok. I’m not sure if I’m the only one who feels this way or if there’s anyone who can relate but I don’t believe there’s anything wrong with being authentic even if it makes other people uncomfortable. I’m ok with whoever chooses not to accept me in their life. I don’t take offense to it because I understand 100%. We have the power to choose what we allow & what we don’t. Yes, we are commanded by the Lord to love one another. 💕

Everyday I ask God to help me love people with HIS heart & to see others through HIS eyes. I believe that’s one of the ways to honor God. You can love but still be YOU! #BeYou #Authentic
