Unashamed

We should NEVER be ashamed of anything we’ve been through. We are not what happened to us. We are who we choose to become.

There are many times I have held back from sharing the many different things I’ve experienced in my life & still do at times because I feel ashamed but that only does more harm than good. I’m learning not to allow shame to have power over me but rather have power over it. I should not be ashamed about anything I’ve been through because it doesn’t define me. And it shouldn’t define you either. What we choose to become because of it is what matters most. For instance, anytime I share about the things I experienced in my last relationship doesn’t mean I’m not over him. The purpose in sharing the things I’ve been through is to encourage others. I know there is a greater purpose as to why God allowed me to go through it all & same goes for you. Not only have I become wiser & stronger but I’ve been able to encourage & inspire other women who can relate when I do share.

This blog is not about me at all but all to do with how we can come together & lift each other up. Most importantly, I have the chance to share about Jesus – The One who has carried me through every storm in my life. I give all of the glory to God. If He was able to set me free, heal, & restore me; He can do the same for you. He is faithful & worthy to be praised!

Until next time, many blessings & much love! πŸ’•πŸŒ»
