Have you ever found yourself desperate to be saved from a situation you can’t seem to get out of? No matter how much you kick & scream. No matter how much you pray. No matter how many people are praying for you. It just seems like the light at the end of the tunnel seems further & further. Maybe you’re struggling to make ends meet. Maybe you lost a loved one, friend, family member, or a child. Maybe you just received unexpected news. Maybe you’ve fallen into a depression & you have no strength to keep fighting. Maybe you’re going through heartbreak & you’re desperately waiting for the day you can wake up without anxiety or that emptiness in your heart that makes you want to stay in bed all day/night or the kind of pain that you can feel at your fingertips. Maybe you’re not where you thought you’d be by now. I get it. I really do! I’ve been there too & still experience all types of trials & tribulations. These words are to encourage me also!

No matter what you’re going through … there’s STILL hope. I know it may not seem like it. But there is. You know how I know? Because you’re reading this. God has allowed you to see another day because you still have purpose. Some of us may know what our purpose is in life & many of us do not but it doesn’t eliminate you from the amazing plans God has in store for you. Maybe you have received Jesus as your Lord & Savior & you’re asking yourself, “Why me? Why must I be going through this? I’ve been faithful & I just don’t understand why this is happening” or maybe you haven’t been living righteously & you feel this is what you deserve. Maybe you have yet to open up your heart to Jesus but you feel Him tugging on your heart but you think you need to get right before you can turn to Him. He wants you to come to Him as you are – mess & all. Maybe you just simply don’t care enough to seek Him or believe that God even exists.

Look – I am not here to convince you of anything you have already set in your mind to believe but I WILL tell you this … You are not reading this for no reason – No matter who you are or what you’re going through … God LOVES you immensely. A love that cannot be fathomed. There is absolutely nothing that can separate you from His love but He loves you enough to allow you to make your own decision about loving Him in return. He doesn’t force you to do anything you’re not willing to do. However, when we choose to do the opposite of what God instructs us to do based on His Word, we suffer the consequences of those decisions. Sometimes we end up suffering for the decisions others have made.

But God is the same yesterday, today & forever. His grace is available to us all. All of us can come to God in the same way: through faith in the grace of God through his Son, Jesus Christ. It is He who can carry you through the storms of life & strengthen you by His power when you have no strength of your own. It is He who reminds you how worthy you are in His eyes when the enemy wants to bring up all the shameful things God has already forgiven you for when you asked for His forgiveness. It is He who guides you when you don’t even know what next step to take. It is He who embraces you when you’ve turned your back on Him time after time & realize you should’ve never walked away. It is He who will love you when others have abandoned you & have taken you for granted. I don’t know who this message is for but I know it’s what God placed on my heart to share & I pray that it has blessed you.

Remember: And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. – Romans 8:28

** I’ve listed some verses that comfort me when I begin to feel defeated, hopeless or doubtful. I pray they comfort you too.

♥ – Trust in the Lord with all you heart & do not lean on your own understanding. – Proverbs 3:5

♥ – So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. – 1 Peter 1:6

♥ – So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. – Galatians 6:9

♥ – Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of. – 2 Corinthians 12:9
♥ – As far as east is from west – that’s how far God has removed our sin from us. Like a parent feels compassion for their children – that’s how the Lord feels compassion for those who honor him. Because God knows how we’re made, God remembers we’re just dust. – Psalm 103:12-14

♥ – When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You. – Psalm 56:3
♥ – Create a clean heart for me, God; put a new, faithful spirit deep inside me! – Psalm 51:10

♥ – I will be your God throughout your lifetime — until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you. – Isaiah 46:4
