I came across this quote & it made me reflect on myself & how I’ve held back from accomplishing many things.
What negative thoughts do you allow yourself to ponder on? Are you relying on your own strength or God’s strength? Where does your faith lie on? On self? Others? Things?

“Trust not in human wisdom but in the power of God.” – 1 Corinthians 2:5

Most times, we are the ones to blame for not being where we ought to be in life. We stand in our own way & fall victim to negative self-talk or settle for less than God’s best. We delay God’s blessings on our own lives because we refuse to trust & obey Him! We choose to take matters into our own hands rather than allowing Him to take control as we place our trust in Him. His plans are FAR greater than our own. His grace IS sufficient & His strength is made perfect in our weaknesses.
It doesn’t matter what your circumstances are. Purpose has been planted in EACH of us. Some know what there purpose in life is & others have to yet to find out. And that’s ok. Your purpose in life may be simply to love those around you & serve them with your time, patience, understanding, laughter & so on. For someone else, it may be to write a book that can help others gain a refreshing perspective on life (#NoteToSelf). Big or small – it doesn’t matter.

Yesterday is gone. There’s nothing we can do about what we did or didn’t do. What happened or didn’t happen. However, we have been blessed to see another day.

We can CHOOSE to …

• – Commit on this day to allow our minds to shift.
• – Take one thought/one step at a time.
• – Get excited for what is getting ready to happen.
• – Replace the lies (we or others tell us) with God’s truth & His promises.

OR

• – Simply do nothing about anything & remain stagnant (mentally, emotionally, spiritually & physically). No. No. Nooooo!!! #EnoughWithThePittyParty #WeAintGotTimeForThat #NotTodaySatan #NotTomorrowOrTheNextDayEither #EnoughIsEnough

Let’s be encouraged as we ALL have been created for so much more. Let’s RISE above whatever may be causing us to feel defeated. Let’s not allow our current situation nor our past decisions define our worth. God loves us SO MUCH & there’s nothing that can separate us from His love. However, He gives us the free will to do as we please but as I’m sure you can relate, we can’t do life without Him & we shouldn’t want to. This flesh of ours can deceive us in many ways – Pride is a big one. Let’s humble ourselves in His Presence, acknowledge Him for who He is & thank Him for what He’s getting ready to do in us & through us. To God be the glory & honor!!
