A prayer I wrote March 21, 2016 – God is the same yesterday, today & forever 🙌🕇

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus & in the power of the Holy Spirit, I come before you to thank you for waking us up this morning & allowing us to see another day. You know the situation or storm each of us find ourselves in. May You remind us of your power & of your love for us despite of what we may be going through. May you strengthen & comfort us in the midst of pain.

May You help us trust You when everything around us seems to be rising up against us. May we keep our eyes fixed on You & not on this world. We know that in the same way you conquered the grave we will also be able to rise up out of every dark & painful situation. We will trust that You are very much aware of all that we are going through & that You will make it all work together for our good. Help us to be more obedient & live a life that honors You & brings You glory. We will praise You though our heart is broken. Heal us Lord from the inside out & make us new. Help us to renew our minds & lean on You at all times. Though we may not always feel Your Presence we will trust that You will never leave us nor forsake us. There’s people who are suffering in silence & others who have cried out to You, Lord. We need You, Lord! We open up our hearts to receive You as our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. We know that we can’t do this thing called life without You. You are Greater & there is no one like You. No matter how many times we try to attempt to do what we want to do, You are the Truth, the Life & the Way. We thank You for taking our place on the cross & carrying all of our sins. We ask that you forgive us for all the things we’ve done that hasn’t been pleasing in Your sight. Help us to make wiser decisions. We are unworthy of Your love & forgiveness but yet You find us worthy. Help us to love & forgive one another as You love & forgive us. Help us to trust in the plans that You have for us & give us the perseverance to keep going & help us to let go of what isn’t honoring You. We thank You for all You have done, for all that You’re doing & will continue to do. We love you, Lord. In Jesus name. Amen!!
