When you know exactly what needs to be done and have somebody to help you out, moving can be transformed from a chore to a breeze. Packing is just as important as the moving process, and it shouldn’t be left for the final day, because there is more than meets the eye. The best possible approach would be to dedicate your full attention to packing and leave the removal companies take care of transporting your stuff to your new home.
By sharing the load you will not find yourself struggling to meet deadlines and all the inherent problems associated to removals will de addressed quickly. Don’t expect the removalists to know what each box contains, and if you want to make sure that fragile items will be treated accordingly, make the needed marks on each package. It won’t take you too long and by doing so, you will prevent irreversible damage that can occur during the removals.
Take the opportunity and clean both the new and old home before the furniture gets to destination, because it’s most likely that you’ll never have a better chance than this. Equally important is to let the removal companies know about the nature of the substances they are about to transport and of course, don’t add anything that is forbidden by the law. It is particularly important to comply to all the regulations when international removals are concerned, because every inadequate package will be prevented entrance. You risk not only losing the content, but also suffer legal consequences.
