When we talk of Venice, we instantly see images of romantic couples traveling around the canals, riding their gondola while being serenaded by a musician. This is certainly a usual sight in Venice, but there is more, much more, to Venice than just gondolas and canals. Make sure that you get to stay in Venice for at least two days and one night so that you can see its beauty during night time.
Venice is already gorgeous during the day but during the night, she reveals her true fabulous self. Street lights line up to illuminate the winding roads, and the gondolas are resting in their place, tied to blue and red striped poles, very much similar to barber poles. There are bridges and arches to stroll in, and of course to whisper a sweet nothing or two to each other. The best part is that day visitors are gone, and what’s left is just the magical streets of Venice.
Don’t worry about getting to St. Mark’s Square, because there will be so many signs pointing the way to you. Sit back and relax and watch the world go by in one of the cafes, or have some gelato when you are in the mood for something cooler. There are concerts, to go to and of course shops to buy some pretty expensive souvenir for that special person. Of course, you can also choose to dine in one of the many canal-side restaurants.
Go to Venice, be like a tourist and do all the things tourist to, and oh, don’t forget to take that snapshot!
