France’s Pride in Drives

Today it’s all about highways and roads that make up one hell of a must see place. There are some highways that are so magnificent, they themselves constitute a holiday. Such is the case with Riviera Corniches in France. Now even without this, France is a must-see place and having this just proves that France certainly has something for everybody. For those who like to feel the rubber meeting the road, the Riviera Corniche is obviously something worth visiting.

Riviera Corniche The Riviera Corniches is made up of three roads – the Grande Corniche, the Moyenne Corniche and the Corniche Inferiure or Basse Corniche, each having its own unique charm. The Grande Corniche, from the name alone, is the highest among the bunch. Its main background is sweeping views of beautiful landscapes, with mountains dotting the highway. History plays a big role in this corniche, as it was started under Napoleon and follows the Roman Aurelian Way.

Next is the Moyenne Corniche which is between the two other corniches. This corniche is made exactly for tourism, and there are restaurants, antique chops and cafes aligning this highway. Last but certainly not the least is the Corniche Inferieure which goes through French quaint towns and villages.

You can choose to drive in one but why not drive around all three? Each will have its own unique flavor that will certainly make your vacation colorful. You can even pass Monaco and try your luck at the many casinos – you can even stay the night if you wanted to.
