New York City is in everybody’s must-visit places, and understandably so. This city is just oozing with life, there is never a dull moment in this historic and ultra fashionable city. It is the hub for many businessmen, fashionistas, artists and who’s who. Just where do you start when you are just visiting? So much to see, so much to do, so little time!
You cannot ignore the Lady, of course, the Statue of Liberty. This icon is one of the most popular and recognizable images around the world, and you just have to be a tourist to the core and have your mandatory picture taken with her. You may think that she is just a statue, but she is treated like a very important figure that you are. Getting to her is just like getting to the airport – you also need to pass several security checkpoints. Allot enough time for you to get to the Liberty Island and back, perhaps two or three hours will do the trick.
Then check out what Beyonce is talking about and go see the Empire State Building. You will remember this from many romantic movies, and take your very own chance at love by going to the top, to the observation platform and get a great view of the magnificent city below you.
If you are not into boutiques in Fifth Avenue, or you don’t want to spend a long time in Central Park, you can opt to check the many museums like the Guggenheim Museum, Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. And don’t forget Times Square!
Now you can be in New York for a month and barely scratch the surface so plan well!
